Everything I have ever done, has lead me to this; the first step of my journey. EL was born from the notion that all things are possible. That is my personal philosophy in all that I do with my life and fuels my motivation to entertain.
As a promoter and Producer of Portland based entertainment, I am dedicated to the idea of shared resources and a network of information that enables communication and opens the doors of opportunity. . .and possibility.
As an actor and vocal artist I have been involved with almost 50 stage performances since I was very young. Professionally I have been working out of Portland, OR since 1996, during which time I have earned my living exclusively in theatre (and film) both on and off stage. The bulk of my experience has come from my 9 years of work with Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, where I have been a staple performer, marketing associate, director, puppet/mask/set designer, writer, and tour manager.
As a puppet and mask designer I like to combine realism with a splash of fantasy, balancing style and function to create usable works of art. When teaching these skills, I work mostly with recycled and reusable materials and a process that offers a creative approach to the art of found object puppetry and mask making .
